Albendazole (methyl carbamate-5N-propylthio-2-benzimidazole) 2.5 g
Excipients
Monopropylene glycol,
Carboxymethylcellulose,
Sodium benzoate,
Demineralized / purified water ad 100ml.
Description:
ASCACID 2.5%, 25 mg / ml Oral Suspension for Sheep is highly active against all species of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (adults, larvae, eggs), trematodes (Fasciola adult form) and cestodes (their scolex and segments).
INDICATIONS:
For sheep.
The product is indicated for sheep in the treatment of gastrointestinal and lungnematodozelor (Oesophagostomum spp, Nematodirus spp, Haemonchus sppTrichostongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Dictyocaulus spp) of trematodozelor (Fasciolaspp) and cestodozelor (Moniesia spp )
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Due to potentially teratogenic and embryotoxic not be used in the first month of gestation.
SIDE EFFECTS:
The product is well tolerated in therapeutic doses. If you experience severe effects or other effects not listed in this leaflet, urgently notify the veterinarian.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
ASCACID 2.5% is administered orally by syringe, in fastening stage in a single dose of 7.5 mg albendazole/kg body weight (15 ml product to 50 kg body weight) in sheep.
In case of re-infection, treatment should be repeated after 3 months.
To be given only when indicated by veterinarian.
Shake well before use.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Withdrawal period since the last administration until consumption is 7 days for meat, offal in sheep and goat and 3 days for milk.
